Once a property has been legally returned to the owner or property manager, Reliable Care steps in to remove abandoned personal belongings, secure the property, and restore it for its next chapter.

Personal Property Removal

Our team of 20-40 people has a system to quickly remove personal belongings from the home after possession has been legally returned. We work room by room, identifying items for donation, recycling, or disposal before hauling away unwanted contents. We can also change locks and help secure the property once it is vacant.

Property Recovery & Exterior Cleanup

After the home's contents have been removed, we return to complete the property's recovery. This includes removing debris from the yard, hauling away exterior items, and leaving the property clean and ready for repairs, new tenants, or listing on the market. We can also complete a yard overhaul which involves clearing overgrown vegetation.

Do you remove abandoned tenant belongings?

Yes. We remove unwanted furniture, household goods, trash, and debris after possession has been legally returned to the property owner.

How many people do you send to an eviction cleanout?

It all depends on the situation. We’ve had 10-40 team members at an eviction cleanout. We have a system to clean out any home size under 2 hours.

What should be expected at an eviction cleanout?

Our team arrives 30 minutes before the eviction begins. We check in with the sheriff, locksmith, homeowner/landlord/attorney. Our team proceeds to empty the home. We categorize the personal belongings or set them all outside depending on the instructions given to us.

What are your minimum hours?

2 hours.

Can you change locks?

Yes. We can change locks and help secure the property immediately following an eviction.

Do you donate usable items?

Absolutely. Whenever possible, usable furniture and household goods are donated to local nonprofit organizations.

What types of properties do you clean out?
